7th inning run lifts Kendall past Elba
Kendall pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip visiting Elba 3-2 in a Genesee Region League game this afternoon.
Nate Shaw singled in the winning run for the Eagles as a hit batter and a passed ball set up the opportunity.
The Eagles tied the game at 2-2 in the fifth inning on a passed ball as a single by James Swift and a sacrifice bunt by Jonathan Conte set up the threat.
Kendall improves to 3-2 in the league and 4-2 overall.
