5 school districts in Orleans cancel school today
County offices also closed due to inclement weather
Albion, Holley, Kendall, Lyndonville and Medina have all cancelled school today due to wintry weather.
The county is under a winter storm warning until 1 p.m. today with another 1 to 3 inches of snow expected today, after the area got about 8 to 12 inches on Thursday.
Due to the inclement weather and safety concerns for the Orleans County employees and residents, Orleans County Legislature Chairman Lynne Johnson has declared that the Orleans County offices will be closed Friday, Feb. 4.
All emergency personnel, DPW and maintenance employees are to report to work.
