5 Medina teams earn Scholar Athlete honors

TENNIS – Compiling a composite average of 98.884, members of the Medina High tennis squad have earned a New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar Athlete Team Award. In front are Haylee Seefeldt, Brandon Harris, Andrew Fuller, Abel Zavitz, Ray Paull, Isaac Pace and Kody Leno. In back are Toby Kiebala, Nick Bogan, Mike Cardone, Kristian Snyder, Kyla Leno, Jacob Houseman and Aedden Cayea. Missing from the photo is Sophia Cardone.

SOFTBALL – Members of the Medina softball squad have compiled a composite average of 93.8163 to earn a NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Team Award. LACROSSE – Compiling a composite average of 93.9272 members of the Medina lacrosse squad have earned a NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Team Award. In front are Christian Silversmith, Tim Roy, Chaise Prest, Ethan Leonard and Blaire Prest. In back are Tyler Howard, Mike Carson, Coby Albone, Luke Wilson, Ian Joseph and Joe Gates. Missing from the photo are Jake Cotter, Cody Crane and Bobby Geiger.

GIRLS TRACK – Members of the Medina girls track squad have compiled a composite average of 93.4450 to earn a NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Team Award. In the middle row are Guinivere Schalck, Libby Cook, Alissa Blount, Hannah Heil, Maddie Williams, Olivia Carter, Layna Viloria and Sarah Sones. In back are Ashton Laird, Marguerire Brakenbury, Sarah Cochrane, Melanie Hibbard, Chelsea Donley, Martha Gardner, Katie Bilicki, Kathryn Young and Morgan Roach.
