4 to 7 inches of snow expected Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a winter weather advisory on Wednesday for Orleans County and Western New York, with snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches.
The advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m., with snow-covered roads and limited visibility expected
“Travel could be difficult,” the Weather Service said. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning, but and more so the evening commute.”
The powerful winds and cold weather have coated the western pier of the Oak Orchard Harbor in ice.
