4 more Covid-19 deaths reported in Orleans
Orleans also has 1 new Covid-19 case, 9 more recoveries
Orleans County had four more residents die from Covid-19, bringing the total to 45 deaths from the coronavirus, the Genesee and Orleans County Health Departments said this afternoon.
The four new deaths in Orleans include two residents at The Villages of Orleans Health and Rehabilitation Facility in Albion and two residents at Orchard Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Medina.
The Villages of Orleans has now had 30 of its residents die from Covid-19 while 14 residents at Orchard have passed away after contracting the virus.
The Health Departments are also one new confirmed case of Covid-19 in Orleans, a person in the 50s from Ridgeway. That brings the total to 244 people in Orleans who have contracted Covid-19. The new positive case was not on mandatory quarantine.
The county also is reporting nine more recoveries from Covid-19, bringing that total to 92.
In Orleans, 17 people are currently hospitalized with Covid-19.
In Genesee County, there is one new positive case of Covid-19, bringing the total to 198 positive cases. The new positive individual resides in Batavia and is in the 30s. This person was not on mandatory quarantine prior to testing positive.
Genesee also has three more recoveries from Covid-19, bringing that total to 135. No Genesee residents are currently hospitalized from Covid-19.
The facility breakdown is only showing the total positive cases from those facilities from where the Health Departments have received a positive swab for Covid-19.

• Phase 3: At the earliest, Phase 3 may be opened this Friday, June 12, however it will be at the Governor’s discretion. With that in mind, everyone waiting on Phase 3 should be developing and implementing their Business Safety Plan to the best of your ability and geared toward your organization whether it be a business, house of worship, non-for-profit organization, etc.
You are responsible to have your plan in place prior to opening. You will not be submitting your plan, however it must be on the premises in the event of a state, local or safety inspection.
• Social Gatherings: Per Governor Cuomo gatherings (groups, assembly, meeting, etc.) of 10 or less are permitted with social distancing and sanitization protocols in place. The executive order is through June 21, unless it is extended.

• Graduation: To help schools plan graduation ceremonies to celebrate all who are graduating in a safe and responsible manner click the link for the guidance. Socially distanced graduations of up to 150 people will be allowed beginning June 26th.
• Personal Care Services: According to the Finger Lakes Regional Control Room, personal care services such as nail salons and tanning salons are projected to reopen in Phase III. This means personal care services are prohibited to be operating at this time. Businesses that are not in compliance may be subjected to a financial penalty.
