4 Hawks, 3 Eagles earn G-R All-Star honors

Holley G-R All-Stars Kayden Servais and Nathan Nothnagle

Holley has placed four players and Kendall three on the Genesee Region League All-Star boys soccer team.

Holley is represented by the senior quartet of midfielder KJ Biedlingmaier, attacker Charles Turpyn and defenders Nathan Nothnagle and Kayden Servais.

Kendall has placed senior midfielder Jake Esposito, junior midfielder Michael McCue and sophomore attacker Zach Barrett.

Holley junior goalie Broek Ostrom and Kendall senior midfielder Derek Edick have both earned Honorable Mention.

Hawk All-Stars KJ Biedlingmaier and Charles Turpyn

Nothnagle had 12 goals and 7 assists, Servais 7 goals and 7 assists, Biedlingmaier 2 goals and 3 assists and Turpyn one assist. In the net Ostrom made 85 saves and had a 0.897 goals against average.

Barrett had 8 goals and 1 assist, McCue 7 goals and 3 assists, Esposito 5 goals and 4 assists and Edick 4 goals and 1 assist.

G-R champion Attica led the All-Star team with five honorees including Evan Dickhut, Travis Kauffman, Nicholas Perl, Simon Lamparell and Zackery Conrad.  Dickhut was honored as G-R Player of the Year,

Rounding out the All-Star team are Brian Napier, Aaron Lund and Josh Gebhardt from Wheatland-Chili, Matt Curtis from Pembroke and Nick Baubie from Byron-Bergen/Elba.
