3 to 6 more inches of snow forecast for today
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Orleans County from 10 a.m. today until 6 a.m. Saturday, when 3 to 6 inches of snow is expected.
The Weather Service said to plan on slippery road conditions, especially for the evening commute.
“Light snow will spread north across the Niagara frontier by midday becoming moderate at times this afternoon into tonight,” The Weather Service said. “Snowfall rates are expected to peak near a half inch per hour during the evening commute, which will result in slippery travel conditions and reduced visibility.”
