3 to 6 inches of snow to fall today

The National Weather Service in buffalo has issued a winter weather advisory for Orleans County with 3 to 6 inches of snow expected to fall by 4 p.m.
“Winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour will create areas of blowing snow and greatly reduced visibilities at times,” the Weather Service said. “Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.”
