3 to 6 inches of snow in forecast for Orleans
There is a winter weather advisory today from 11 a.m. today until 7 a.m. Saturday for Orleans, Niagara, Genesee and northern Erie counties.
The National Weather Service in buffalo says to expect 3 to 6 inches of snow, with winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour.
“Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions with poor visibility,” the Weather Service said. “The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday evening commute with road conditions quickly deteriorating around sunset.”
The high today will be 34 degrees followed by highs of 32 on Saturday, 36 on Sunday and 38 on Monday.
