A winter storm warning that was in effect until 6 p.m. today has been cancelled by the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

However, a winter weather advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. on Monday when an additional 3 to 5 inches of snow could fall in Orleans, Niagara, Monroe and northern Cayuga counties.

A wind chill advisory also is in effect for Orleans from 6 p.m. today until 7 p.m. Monday. Winds will gust as high as 35 miles per hour and wind chills are expected as low as 25 below zero.
