A winter weather advisory has been issued for Orleans County and Western New York from 10 p.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

“Plan on slippery road conditions,” the Weather Service said. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.”

The high temperatures are forecast for 36 on Wednesday followed by 33 on Thursday.

Then the temperature takes a big drop to an overnight low on Thursday of 8 degrees. Friday is forecast to only reach a high of 12 degrees.
