3 plead guilty in County Court

ALBION – Three people pleaded guilty in Orleans County Court on Monday and could sentenced to jail or state prison.

Peter Eckerd, 28, of Brockport pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated after being arrested in the Town of Murray. The charge carries a maximum of 1 1/3 to 4 years in state prison, but as part of a plea deal Eckerd will face a maximum of 1 to 3 years in prison.

He has two prior DWIs, and will be sentenced on Nov. 20.

Two other people pleaded guilty to felonies.

Shane S. Woolston, 26, of Waterport pleaded guilty to grand larceny in the fourth degree for allegedly stealing a car as well as several credit and debit cards, and using them to make numerous purchases.

He faces up to a year in jail when he is sentenced on Nov. 20.

David L. Timmer III, 38, of Medina pleaded guilty to attempted burglary in the third degree. He is accused of burglarizing Tim Horton’s in Medina and taking money from the business.

He faces a split sentence of up to 6 months in jail and 5 years probation when he is sentenced on Nov. 20.
