2019 in Review: # 2 Medina captures sectional baseball title earning berth in state semis

Medina advanced to the state Class B baseball semifinals for the second time in program history.

The Mustangs bested a pair of Niagara-Orleans League rivals to earn the Section VI Class B title downing Albion 10-6 in the Class B1 final at Niagara Falls High School and Roy-Hart 15-4 for the overall Class B title and a berth in the state playoffs at Canisius College.

Medina then downed LeRoy 10-2 in the Far West Regional at Lockport but bowed 6-3 to Schuylerville in the state Class B semifinal at Binghamton.

Medina captured the N-O League championship with a 10-2 record and finished with a 21-3 overall mark.
