2019 in Review: #3 Barker makes a return trip to the state field hockey semifinals

Barker advanced to the state field hockey semifinals for the second year in a row and the fifth time in the last 10 years.
The Lady Raiders defeated Eden 4-0 for the Section VI Class C championship and then downed East Rochester 6-1 in the Far West Regional to advance to the state semis where they dropped a 2-0 decision to Bronxville on the new blue turf at Alden High.
Barker captured the Niagara-Orleans League championship for the 16th time in the last 20 years by compiling a 12-0 record.
