Lyndonville captured the Genesee Region League Division 2 baseball championship for the fifth time in the last six years with a 12-1 record.
Two close wins over Notre Dame by scores of 9-8 and 2-0 and one over Oakfield-Alabama by a narrow 5-4 margin keyed the Tigers to the division win.
Pitcher Zach Johnson, shortstop Nate Dillenbeck and utility player Kane Flynn represented the Tigers on the G-R All-Star team.
The Tigers, which compiled a 17-2 overall record, dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to Bolivar-Richburg in the Section V Class D1 title contest.
