Here are a few of this photogs’ favorites, most of which have appeared on the Hub and some which haven’t. There was plenty of close action like this as Barker’s Natalie Menz puts a shot against diving East Rochester goalie Allie Reynolds during the Lady Raiders 3-2 overtime loss to the Lady Bombers in the Far West sub regional at Hilton. Surrounding the play are Lady Raiders Madison Gancasz, Jillian Moeller and Katrina Clare.

Concentration is the name of the diamond game for Lyndonville shortstop Michael Wells, left, and Albion shortstop Jaquess Harrison. Wells helped the Tigers earn the Genesee Region League Division 2 title.

Medina/Lyndonville’s Ronnie Koonce takes a make a leaping catch against Depew. At right, Holley’s Zach Day dives in for a touchdown.

Albion’s Natalie DiCureia dives into third base in this picture that was used on Facebook.

Using your head is key in soccer as demonstrated here by Holley’s Peyton Sargent (11) going up against Kendall’s Kayla Summers at left and Holley’s Derek McArthur working against Kendall’s James Longrod.

The hair color doesn’t quite match the school colors but Holley/Kendall’s Nate Schoonmaker nevertheless is in control of his match here and on his way to notching a victory.

In close quarters, Medina’s Maddie Winters (00) grabs a rebound away from Kendall’s Taylor ReQua as Emily Kams moves in for the Mustangs.

Holley’s Camron Labarge goes high to break up passes against Nichols, at left, and against Notre Dame, right, a clutch fourth down play at the goal line which clinched the Hawks exciting 3-0 overtime win over the Fighting Irish.

Two local basketball players who were on target were Barker’s Nate Luckman ,who set a new school record for career three point baskets, and Albion’s Chanyce Powell who broke the 1,000 point career mark and also had a school record 37 point outing. These pictures were the actual record setting shots.

Medina/Lyndonville quarterback Izaiah Rhim stretches out full length to dive into the end zone for a touchdown during a big win over Alden which keyed the Mustangs to the B East Division title.

There were collisions on the volleyball court as Medina’s Je’ne Brown and Roy-Hart’s Brianna Brewer meet at the top of the net and on the soccer field as Holley’s Haylee Passarell wards off Albion’s Brylie Hapeman.

Medina’s Jared Zinkievich makes a sliding catch in centerfield during the Mustangs successful quest to claim the Niagara-Orleans League title.
