Local duo starts for GCC basketball team

The starting lineup for the Genesee Community College women’s basketball team this season includes two Orleans County players, Albion High graduate Catherine Wolck and Holley High grad Tatum Gagne.
Wolck, a freshman, leads GCC in both scoring with an 8.3 per game average and rebounding with an 8.7 average.
Gagne, a sophomore, is third on the team in scoring with a 4.7 average and also averages 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
The duo helped lead GCC to a recent 51-30 win over Adirondack as Wolck scored 15 and Gagne 12.
Both players have started all 10 games for the Cougars.
Wolck and Gagne also both played soccer for GCC last fall.
Gagne, who started all 14 games had 2 goals and 3 assists. Wolck, who played in 12 games, had a goal and 2 assists.
