10U Fillies romp past Clarence
Making it two wins in a row, the Medina 10U Fillies rolled to a 13-2 victory over visiting Clarence on Wednesday evening.
Lily Joe Carpenter had two singles and a triple to lead the Fillies at the plate while in the circle Faith Oberther registered 11 strikeouts.
The Fillies took charge at the outset erupting for six quick runs in the first inning on a rash of walks and singles by Carpenter and Ryan Olles.
Keeping the momentum, the Fillies tacked on seven more runs in the second inning highlighted by a double by Carpenter, singles by Brianna Smith and Bonnie DiCureia and a sacrifice by Baileigh McAdoo.
The Fillies close out the regular season at West Seneca on July 1.
