1 to 3 inches of snow forecast for Orleans, but other areas getting much more
Orleans County is forecast for 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight through Tuesday morning. Other areas will get much more.
East of Rochester the forecast calls for 3 to 5 inches in Wayne, northern Cayuga and Ontario counties. East of those areas will get 5 to 11 inches and a winter storm warning in effect for Oneida, Madison, Chenango, Otsego, Delaware and Sullivan counties.
In Orleans County the forecast today will be sunny with a high of 51, followed by rain and snow on Tuesday with a high of 42. Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 51 followed by a high near 62 on Thursday.
