Roy-Hart girls trim Barker; C-C downs Albion

Avenging an earlier season 34-24 loss, Roy-Hart downed visiting Barker 46-39 this evening to close out the Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball season.

Maddie Fry scored 10 points to lead Roy-Hart’s balanced attack as Skyler Christopher added 8, Meghan Washington 7, Maddy Glena 6, Ellie Todd 4 and Ava Bligh, Rielly Albee and Delaney Draper 3.

Gabby Baker scored 11, Lydia Dewart 8 and Kylie Annable and Kylie Miller 6 for Barker.

Roy-Hart, which finishes the N-O season at 2-10, led 10-2 after one quarter, 22-13 at the half and 35-28 at the three-quarter mark.

Barker winds up N-O competition at 1-11.

Churchville-Chili 46, Albion 40

Trailing 19-18 at the half, Chuchville-Chili used a 21-17 third period scoring edge to key a 46-40 victory over host Albion in a regular season ending non league game.

Emily Blanchard scrored 14 and Chanyce Powell 13 to lead the way for Albion which trailed 39-36 heading into the final period.
