Wilson wins N-O links tournament
Completing an undefeated season, Wilson captured top honors at the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League golf tournament today at Willowbrook.
Wilson, which posted a 14-0 regular season record, captured the tourney with a score of 440.
Medina and Roy-Hart finished in a tie for second place at 478 followed by Newfane 493, Akron 513, Barker 521, CSAT 538 and Albion 552.
In locking up a second straight N-O championship, Wilson finished the season with a total of 35 points.
Medina, which went 12-2 during the regular season, finished in the runner-up spot with 29.5 points followed by Newfane 24, Roy-Hart 19.5, Barker 13.5, Albion 6.5, Akron 5 and CSAT 5.
Barker’s Brad Wilson earned medalist honors with an 82 for the 18 hole tourney.
Wilson’s Brian Kelly finished in second with an 83 as Medina’s Ian Wagner carded an 84, Wilson’s Jonah Miller an 86 and CSAT’s Joey Yakovac an 89 to round out the top five.
