Last spring Roy-Hart shared the Niagara-Orleans League softball title with Akron at 12-2. Now, with no less than nine regulars back in the lineup, the Lady Rams are in a solid position to make a strong run to retain that title.

Pitcher Taylor Fry and shortstop/pitcher Ashley Bower, both seniors who earned first team N-O All-League honors, head that large veteran contingent which also includes freshman outfielder Kayla Brown, who earned second team All-League honors, along with third baseman Madi Hiddie and centerfielder Lindsay Yates, both seniors who received All-League Honorable Mention.

The returnees also include senior infielders Hannah Rausch and Faye Conley, junior outfielder Rachael Rausch and sophomore catcher/outfielder Brianna Brewer.

“I’m excited. We have a very good group this year,” said Coach Larry Lash.

The Lady Rams roster also includes senior Delaney O’Shea, sophomore Rielly Albee (infield), freshmen Maddy Glena (first base) and Delaney Draper (infield) along with eighth graders Maddie Fry (catcher) and Alexis Lovewell (pitcher/infield).

“The league will be good this year as there is a lot of pitching coming back but I’m really excited about the potential of our group,” said Lash whose Lady Rams are scheduled to begin defense of their N-O title on April 9 at home against Barker.
