Tigers to honor sectional champion baseball and softball teams
Banners will be raised in the Lyndonville High gymnasium Tuesday evening to honor the Tigers baseball and softball teams which captured Section V championships last spring.
The ceremonies will be held between the JV and varsity boys games between Lyndonville and Holley. The JV game begins at 5:30 p.m.
The sectional championship was the first ever for the Lyndonville softball team and the second in the last three years for the Tigers baseball squad.
N-O basketball action also swings back into high gear Tuesday evening with a total of eight games.
N-O boys action will have Wilson (0-3) at Medina (2-2), Newfane (2-3) at Albion (1-4), Roy-Hart (3-1) at Barker (3-0) and Akron (1-2) at CSAT (3-0). All are at 6:30 p.m. varsity starts except at 7 p.m. at Albion.
N-O girls games will have Medina (1-4) at Wilson (4-0), Albion (4-1) at Newfane (4-1), Barker (3-1) at Roy-Hart (1-4) and CSAT (0-4) at Akron (1-3). All are 6:30 p.m. varsity starts.
