Teen seriously injured in ATV accident in Carlton

CARLTON – A 16-year-old was seriously injured in a ATV accident on Sunday at about 7 p.m.
Payten Vercruysse has a severe brain injury, broken collar bone and a broken forearm, according to a GoFundMe set up by his cousin, Joshua Wells.
Payten is currently in a medically induced coma so he can focus on the healing of his brain.
“We have a long road of recovery ahead of us, but we’re gonna get through this bump in the road, and he’s gonna come back stronger than ever!” Wells writes on the GoFundMe.
Any donations will help with medical costs and other expenses during Payten’s recovery.
