Snow postpones sectional games
This morning’s steady snow, which is forecast to last into the evening, has caused the postponement of a number of high school sectional basketball games which were scheduled for tonight.
In boys basketball, No. 3 seed Lyndonville’s Section V Class D1 home game against No. 14 Hammondsport has been postponed until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
No. 15 Kendall’s game at No. 2 Geneseo in Class C2 and No. 10 Holley’s game against No. 7 Rochester Career Mentoring Charter School in Class B2 have also both been postponed until Wednesday. The Kendall game is now slated for 7:30 p.m. while a time and site for the Holley game has not yet been announced.
In girls basketball, No. 9 Medina’s Section VI Class B1 game at No. 8 Tonawanda has also been postponed until Wednesday.
The No. 9 JFK at No. 8 Roy-Hart Class B2 game has been postponed until 7 p.m. Wednesday.
