Photo by Tom Rivers: A historical marker stands out at Courthouse Square in Albion this morning after a snow fall last night and this morning. The marker notes the front lawn for the County Courthouse and County Clerks Building was a homestead with a log cabin site, built by Mr. and Mrs. William McAllister in 1811. Mr. McAllister moved away after his wife’s death in 1812, the marker states.
