Several accidents from slippery conditions
The slippery conditions from the freezing temperatures and falling snow has resulted in several accidents around Orleans County since about 5 p.m.
The accidents include a vehicle into a utility pole on Route 31 in Ridgeway near Wood Road, a two-car accident on Maple Ridge Road in Shelby (between Shelby Basin and Salt Works) with one vehicle blocking traffic, a car into a pole on Fancher Road in Murray, and another car into a pole on South Main Street in Holley.
