Roy-Hart capped off a 12-2 Niagara-Orleans League championship season with a narrow 2-1 victory over Newfane this evening under the lights at Gasport.

Joe Nolan and Cam Meadows combined to hurl a 2 hitter with 7 strikeouts for Roy-Hart. Meadows notched a clutch game ending strikeout as Newfane left runners stranded at second and third in the seventh inning.

Roy-Hart scored once in the second on an RBI single by Jake Bruning.

The Rams then tallied what proved to be the game winner in the third as Andy Xapsos walked, stole second and came home on a single by Justin Heschke.

Newfane, which slips to 1-12, will face rival Wilson Thursday to close out the N-O season.
