Roy-Hart 1 scores Midget ‘B’ win
Two-run scoring spurts in three consecutive innings earned Roy-Hart 1 a 6-3 win over visiting Lockport this evening in a Lockport Midget ‘B’ League game.
A two-run double by Aaron Metz in the third inning plated what proved to be the game winning runs for Roy-Hart which also scored twice in both the second and fourth frames. Metz also had a triple on the evening.
Joe Nolan earned the win on the mound allowing five hits and striking out 10.
Roy-Hart 1 improves to 5-4.
The other scheduled Midget ‘B’ game matching Roy-Hart 2 against Somerset was postponed.
