John B. Wing, 85, of Holley and Kendall, passed away July 31, 2019. He was born Nov. 22, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Clarence and Utilia Wing, and he moved to Rochester as a young child.

John served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to his wife, Ann, in June 1958. In 1970, he moved to Holley, and he remained there until his kids were grown and on their own. In the summer of 1987, he moved to Kendall and, in 2015, moved to Brockport. John retired from Eastman Kodak Company in 1990, and he also served as a part time police officer in Holley for several years.
