Jerry D. Lawton
Jerry D. Lawton passed away April 8, 2019 at North Gate Health Care Facility. Born Feb. 22, 1950 in Cuba, N.Y., he was the son of Olon and Leah (Loucks) Lawton.
Jerry worked as a truck driver for William Kugler & Brothers Inc. and, upon their closing, he worked at Barden Homes. He enjoyed music, car shows, getting lost and finding his way home. He will be remembered fondly as a great conversationalist.
Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Debra (Moran) Lawton, on June 23, 2008; and by his sister, Barbara Burkhardt.
Jerry is survived by his children, John (Andrea) Lawton, Shawn (Christian) Lawton and Tara (Jason) Draper; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call Tue., April 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with services following at 12 p.m., at Antioch Anabaptist Church, 4649 Alabama Road, Medina.
