James A. Bissing
James A. Bissing, 73, of Alexander, entered into rest on Sat., Feb. 1, 2020. He was born Dec. 17, 1946 in Buffalo, a son of the late Clayton and Mary Bissing.
An animal lover, he farmed for many years and raised a variety of animals. Jim was also employed by Genesee Valley BOCES in Batavia as a courier. He enjoyed going to fairs and auctions, and being involved with 4-H.
He was predeceased by his wife, Frances A. (Goleski) Bissing, on Dec. 11, 2011.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jamie (Jared) Ingersoll and Jennifer Bissing; and four grandchildren, Lillie Bissing, Chloe Ingersoll, Flynn Ingersoll and Austin Bissing.
Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
