George E. Carpenter
MORRISTOWN, TENN – George E. Carpenter, age 76, died in his home following a long illness. George was born October 24, 1947 in Medina, NY to Norman and Christine Carpenter. He was a graduate of Medina High School in 1967. George lived in Medina working on the family dairy farm with his father until after his father’s death. He continued the farm for a few more years until health issues led him to sell the farm. In 2008 George moved to Tennessee with his partner.
George enjoyed computer games and technology, and when younger he enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and bowling. He spent 61 years on the family farm working with his father and other relatives.
In addition to his parents George was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (Charles) Lindemuth. He is survived by his partner, Peter Carpenter and brother William (Shari) Carpenter of Medina.
At George’s request, there will be no calling hours or memorial service at this time.
