Douglas P. “Doug” Cosby
HOLLEY – Douglas P. “Doug” Cosby, 84, died Nov. 12, 2020 at his home following a long illness. Doug was born April 13, 1936 in St. Louis, MO a son of the late Herbert O. and Eva E. (Groff) Cosby and had lived in the Holley area since 1967.
He had served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1959. Doug had worked for over 20 years at Kodak as a Film Processor. He enjoyed building miniature houses.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Donald and Edward Cosby; and sister, Virginia Woods. Doug is survived by his wife Emma, of 57 years; daughter, Amy (Bob) Appleton; son Michael (Terry) Cosby; grandchildren: Emma and Jeffrey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There are no prior calling hours or a service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Holley.
