Notre Dame cagers top Lyndonville

Taking charge in the second quarter, Notre Dame went on to defeat host Lyndonville 81-61 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game.

Eddie Schildt scored nine points in the opening quarter to keep Lyndonville within two at 15-13.

However, Notre Dame answered with a decisive 26-13 second period scoring burst to move out to s 41-26 halftime advantage. CJ Suozzi scored 10 and Josh Johnson 7 to lead that Fighting Irish uprising.

Notre Dame maintained a 59-37 lead at the three-quarter mark.

Johnson finished with a game high 27 points and Suozzi 15 for the Fighting Irish.

Nick Hinkson scored 21, Schildt 20 and Eric Neace 12 to lead Lyndonville.
