N-O wrestling tourney underway

Nearly 100 area wrestlers are competing in the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League Tournament today at Medina High School. Team and individual weight class champions will be crowned with the finals scheduled for approximately 3:30 p.m. Akron is the defending team champion. Action here from a noon time semifinal round match has Albion’s Aaron Mulroy working toward an exciting 11-10 decision win over Medina’s Charles Beach in the 182 pound bracket. Aaron Burnside (138), Ed Wolfe (170) and Kollin Reynolds (195) have also advanced to the finals so far for Albion with the semis nearing completion. Brennan Callara (106), Joe Velez (113) and Ben Howell (145) have advanced so far for Medina.
