MEDINA – The Medina High School Student Association has come up with a unique and fun way to bring school and community together. They are hosting their first-ever Food Truck Friday.
The event will be this Friday at the Clifford Wise Middle School next to the school district’s pool. It will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and parking is available at the Middle School and Oak Orchard Elementary School lots.
Gianna Sargent, an advisor for the Student Association, said three food trucks are coming to the school: Bad Ash BBQ, which will have barbecue specialties; Barton’s Parkside Hots, which will have hot dogs, burgers, fries and garbage plates; and Taffy’s, which will be serving milkshakes. There will also be pizza, cotton candy, popcorn, Mustang beads and pompoms for sale.
“The students are very excited about the event,” said Ms. Sargent. “They think it is a great idea to bring people together for an experience that normally they could not get in Medina. We hope to see a lot of people there.”
