MEDINA – A Medina man has died from injuries sustained in a car accident on Monday.

Raymond K. “Ray” Farewell, 58, was the passenger in a vehicle that was rear-ended on Maple Ridge Road, between Sanderson and Culvert roads.

Farewell was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where he died on Wednesday, two days after the accident.

Law enforcement hasn’t released a report on the accident. Funeral arrangements are being completed by Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home in Lyndonville.

“He was one of the nicest, most giving people I’ve ever met,” said Farewell’s friend, Dena Scribner. “He was such a great person.”
