Roy-Hart swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Medina this afternoon by scores of 8-5 and 22-0 in Niagara-Orleans League softball action.

Leading by a narrow 5-3 margin, Roy-Hart scored three times in the fourth inning on two errors and a single by Sam Brown to take the opener. Brown and Taylor Fry both had two hits in the game.

In the second game, Roy-Hart exploded for 10 runs in the first inning and nine more in the second.

Kayla Brown had two doubles and a triple and four RBIs and Ashley Bower and Rachel Rausch two-run homers to highlight the Roy-Hart attack. Sam Brown also had three hits.

In the circle, Fry hurled one hitter with two strikeouts.

Lyndonville 18, Holley 0
Rebekah Hoffee and Maddy Boyle combined to hurl a two hitter with four strikeouts to lead Lyndonville to a 18-0 victory over host Holley in a Genesee Region League game.

Madison Gardepe had four hits, including a double and triple and five RBIs, to lead Lyndonville at the plate. Katie Marek added three hits as Boyle, Hoffee and Morgan Hungerford each had two.

Gardepe had a two-run triple in the second inning and a two-run double to highlight an 11 run third inning.

Lyndonville is now 3-0 and 5-0 overall while Holley is 3-3.
