Lady Rams down Lakewomen

Scoring in every inning but one defending co-chamnpion Roy-Hart posted a 14-6 victory over host Wilson this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League softball game.

Maddy Glena and Lexie Lovewell both had three hits for Roy-Hart as Rachael Rausch, Taylor Fry and Ashley Bower each chipped in with two. Glena and Rausch each drove in three runs.

Anna Bryer and Jenn Darlak both had two hits for Wilson.

Roy-Hart improves to 3-0 and Wilson slips to 1-1.

Newfane 22, Albion 10

A huge 11 run first inning scoring burst sparked Newfane to a 22-10 victory over visiting Albion.

Katie Kneeland had a home run for Newfane which improves to 2-1.

Ellen Narburgh, Andrea Aman and Angela Terracone each had two hits for Albion which is now 1-1.

Akron 14, Barker 2

Defending co-champion Akron improved to 2-0 by downing Barker 14-2 as Abby Stone had 3 hits, Meagan Kidder 2 including a triple and 3 RBIs and Sydney Leeds 2 RBIs to lead the way.

Akron pitcher Brooke Peters had 6 strikeouts and Barker hurler Erika Moeller 7 strikeouts.

Alexander 7, Kendall 3

Trailing 3-2, Alexander rallied for five runs in the seventh inning to down Kendall 7-3 in a Genesee Region League game.

Chelsea Wright and Kacey Menge both had two hits for Kendall. Wright’s hits included a double.
