Kendall spikers outlast rival Holley

A pair of overtime set wins keyed Kendall to a 29-27, 18-25, 26-24, 25-21 victory over visiting rival Holley this evening in a Genesee Region League volleyball match.

Katie Richardson had a key run of seven straight service points to spark Kendall to a victory in the pivotal third set.

Richardson had 9 aces on the evening for the Lady Eagles as Taylor Kingsbury had 9 kills, 6 digs and 4 aces, Chelsea Wright 15 digs and Sarah Pearson 18 assists.

Tessa McArthur had 3 aces, 5 kills and 1 block and Brianna Barber 4 aces and 2 assists for Holley.

Wilson 16-15-20

Defending champion Albion stayed unbeaten at 5-0 with a straight set 25-16, 25-15, 25-20 victory over visiting Wilson this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League match.

Chanyce Powell had 9 kills, 3 digs and 1 block; Kelsee Soule 6 kills, 8 digs and 5 aces; Sara Millspaugh 5 kills, 5 digs and 1 ace; Aleah Foos 6 kills and 2 blocks; Meghan Hurley 2 kills, 8 digs and 13 assists; Liz Bentley 3 digs and 2 aces and Olivia Neidert 10 assists and 3 assists to lead the way for the Purple Eagles.

Anna Bryer had 16 digs for Wilson which slip to 2-3.

Erica Wright had 7 kills, 12 digs and 2 aces; Vicki Harrington 7 kills and 2 aces and Madison Wolcott 4 kills, 10 assists and 8 digs to lead Newfane (5-1) to a straight set 25-13, 25-14, 25-16 victory over host Roy-Hart (1-4).
