G-R diamond honors for Kendall duo

Kendall High senior pitcher Alex Sutphen and junior shortstop Mookie Nauden have both earned Genesee Region League All-Star honors.
Sutphen had a 5-4 record and two saves on the mound as he struck out 86 batters in 63 innings and had an earned run average of 2.22. At the plate, he hit .455 with six doubles.
Nauden hit .397 with three doubles and two triples.
The Eagles also had senior catcher Richie Swift receive G-R Honorable Mention as he hit .380 with four doubles and one triple.
