Albion JV Division Eagles stay unbeaten

Six players had a hand in scoring touchdowns as the Albion JV Division Eagles downed Akron 38-7 Saturday to improve to 4-0 in Niagara Orleans Football Association action.

Kevin Hillman caught touchdown passes of 53 yards from Reylend Callicutt and 16 from Thomas Furmanski. On the ground, the Eagles got rushing touchdowns of 58 yards by DeShawn Grace, 35 by Deyonci Farley and 17 by Brillance Johnson.

Hillman, who also had a 50 yard kickoff return, finished with 150 total yards while Grace had 78 rushing, Farley 71, Johnson 38, Callicutt 26 and Michael Brewer 22.

On defense, Farley made six tackles, Callicutt, Johnson and James Denoncourt four and Damion Lattimer three.

In the Mini Division, Albion lost 20-6 to Akron. Amari Jones had 112 yards including a touchdown.

Defensively, Amari Jones had nine tackles, Jevon Jones seven, Luke Cornick and Jabari Johnson six and Jacob Hughson four.

In the Varsity Division, Albion dropped a 32-13 decision to Akron. Antonio Vallejo had 128 yards rushing including touchdown runs of 65 and 32 yards.

Defensively, Marc Green had 13 tackles, Vallejo nine, Colton Tuttle and Devin Olles seven, Colton Howell five, Dalton Wilkins four and Isaiah Callicutt, Domanic Farley and Jayah Osby three.

The Albion Mini and Varsity Division teams are now both at 2-2.
