Winter weather advisory for today, 3 to 5 inches of snow expected
The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a winter weather advisory for Orleans County today from 2 p.m. to midnight.
The Weather Service said 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected with winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour in Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, northern Erie and Genesee counties.
“Periods of snow will result in snow-covered roads and limited visibilities,” the Weather Service said. “Slow down and use caution while driving.”
