On May 14, 2016, Medina Police Department charged Felipe Chavez Jr., 31, of 715 Gwinn St., Medina, on May 14, 2016, with Assault 3rd Degree; Burglary 1st Degree; Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree; and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. Chavez was arraigned and held on $25,000 bail and was scheduled to return May 20 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Cory C. Gaylord, 32, of 128 W. Bank St., Albion, on May 14, 2016, with Grand Larceny 4th Degree; Identity Theft 2nd Degree; and Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification Information 3rd Degree. Gaylord was arraigned and held on $5,000 bail and was scheduled to return May 20 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Christina E. Ashton, 34, of 3430 Horan Road, Medina, on May 15, 2016, with Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree. Ashton was arraigned and was released on her own recognizance. She was scheduled to return June 6 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Kevin W. Reamer, 23, of 304 E. Oak Orchard St., Medina, on May 18, 2016, with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree; Tampering with Physical Evidence; Resisting Arrest; Harassment 2nd Degree; and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Reamer was arraigned and held on $2000 bail. He was scheduled to return at a later date to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Kayla A. Spry, 21, of 510 West Ave., Medina, on May 19, 2016, with Harassment 2nd Degree. Spry was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return June 2 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Matthew Masters, 41, of 1000 West Ave., Medina, on May 20, 2016, with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree with Intent to Damage Property. Masters was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and was scheduled to return at a later date to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Timothy K. Kendrick, 33, of 12160 McNeeley Rd., Akron, on May 21, 2016, with Driving While Intoxicated; Driving with .08 of 1% or More Blood Alcohol Content; Fail to Keep Right; Fail to Notify DMV Address Changed; and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Kendrick was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return June 9 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Peter G. Jones, 21 of 347 North Ave., Medina, on May 22, 2016, with two counts Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree. Jones was arraigned and held on $5000 bail and was scheduled to return May 26 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Shawn L. Brooks, 28, of 515 West Ave., Medina, on May 26, 2016, with Harassment 2nd Degree. Brooks was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return at a later date to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged a 17-year-old on May 26, 2016, with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. The 17-year-old was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 2 to Shelby Town Court.

Posted 25 May 2016

On May 25, after an investigation conducted by the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force and Orleans County Department of Social Services Medicaid Unit, a Lyndonville man was arrested on welfare fraud and forgery charges.

 

As a result of the investigation it was learned that Craig S. Groves, 37, of 203 South Main St. falsely completed and filed Medicaid financial applications and was receiving Medicaid benefits he was not eligible for from the years 2012 through 2016, totaling $41,185, the Task Force reported.

 

Groves was charged with one count of welfare fraud in the third degree, a Class D felony, and one count of forgery in the second degree, a Class D felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Albion Court by Justice Joseph Fuller and released on his own recognizance. Groves is to appear in Town Court at 9 a.m. on July 13.

On May 18, 2016, New York State Troopers and BCI arrested Richard D. Walls, age 46, of Rincon, Ga., for Grand Larceny 4th Degree and Petit Larceny. Walls is accused of taking items from an Orleans County resident. New York State Police investigators extradited Walls from Effingham County, Ga. pursuant to an arrest warrant, which was issued by the Orleans County Court. Walls is currently being held at the Orleans County Jail pending further proceedings.

On May 3, 2016, at 129 N. Main St., Albion, the Albion Police Department charged Robert A. Beedham Sr., 53, with Harassment Second Degree - Physical Contact; and Criminal Contempt First Degree - Violate Order of Protection.

 

On May 4, 2016, at 126 S. Main St., Albion, the Albion Police Department charged Mikal Avery Bowers, 20, with Operation of a Motor Vehicle Without Inspection; and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

 

On May 5, 2016, at 33 West Ave., Albion, the Albion Police Department charged Jerry L. Fitzsimmons, 25, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle Third Degree; Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Registration Suspended; and Operation of a Motor Vehicle without Insurance.

 

On May 7, 2016, at police headquarters at 106 N. Platt St., Albion, the Albion Police Department charged Antonio F. Lopez, 25, with two counts of Harassment Second Degree - Physical Contact; and Menacing Second Degree - Weapon.

 

On May 7, 2016, at 15685 Lynch Road, Murray, the Albion Police Department arrested Lawrence C. Watson, 33, on the execution of a warrant.

 

On May 8, 2016, at 158 Hamilton St., Albion, the Albion Police Department charged Jennifer L. Smith, 44, with Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Registration Suspended; and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle Third Degree.

 

On May 12, 2016, at 500 East Ave., Albion, the Albion Police Department charged Quasar N. Pulluaim, 31, with Operation of a Motor Vehicle by an Unlicensed Driver; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle Second Degree; and Speed Violation: Speeding in School Zone.

 

On May 9, 2016, at police headquarters at 106 N. Platt St., Albion, the Albion Police Department charged Kevin J. Engert, 27, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Seventh Degree; and three counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property Fifth Degree.

 

On May 14, 2016, at 12690 Route 31, Ridgeway, the Albion Police Department charged Chasity R. Chinn, 23, with Grand Larceny Fourth Degree - Credit Card; Conspiracy Fifth Degree; and Petit Larceny.

On March 30, 2016, Holley Police arrested Matthew Stearns, 33, of Holley, for Petit Larceny as a Crime of Public Corruption as a result of theft of meat from Holley Save-A-Lot. He was issued an appearance ticket to be arraigned in front of Judge Gary Passarell on April 18, 2016.

 

On April 1, 2016, Holley Police arrested Edward R. Kane Jr., 21, of Holley, for Burglary in the Second Degree - Dwelling; and Menacing in the Third Degree after an incident that occurred on March 30, 2016. Kane was arraigned at Town of Murray Court before Judge Gary Passarell. Kane was remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail with a return date of April 13, 2016.

 

On April 2, 2016, Holley Police arrested Leah M. Kelso, 20, of Brockport for Harassment in the Second Degree - Physical Contact after an incident that occurred on March 30, 2016. Kelso was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment in Town of Murray Court on April 11, 2016 in front of Judge Gary Passarell.

 

On April 3, 2016, Holley Police arrested Sharon D. Hall, 39, of Holley, for Harassment in the Second Degree - Physical Contact. Hall was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment in Town of Murray Court in front of Judge Gary Passarell on April 25, 2016.

 

On April 17, 2016, Holley Police arrested Lorene M. Biedlingmaier, 18, of Holley, for Harassment in the Second Degree - Physical Contact. Biedlingmaier was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment in Town of Murray Court in front of Judge Theodore Spada on April 28, 2016.

 

On April 19, 2016, Holley Police arrested Spencer R. Plummer, 24, of Holley for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree; Operation of a Motor Vehicle Without Inspection Certificate; and Operation of a Motor Vehicle Without Stop Lights. Plummer was issued appearance tickets for arraignment in Town of Murray Court in front of Judge Theodore Spada on May 12, 2016.

 

On April 19, 2016, Holley Police arrested Willie J. Stephens, 49, of Medina, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Speeding Violation - Speed in Zone. Stephens was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment in Town of Murray Court before Judge Gary Passarell on May 2, 2016.

 

On April 22, 2016, Holley Police arrested Christopher M. Clawson, 23, of Holley, for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree - Credit Card; and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree - Credit Card. Clawson was arraigned in Town of Murray Court before Judge Gary Passarell and was remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $1000 cash/credit card bail and had a return date to Murray Court on April 25, 2016.

 

On April 28, 2016, Holley Police arrested Tia I. Avery, 24, of Holley, for Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Registration Suspended; Operation of a Motor Vehicle without Financial Security; and Operator Leaves Scene of Property Damage Accident. Avery was issued appearance tickets for arraignment in Town of Murray Court before Judge Theodore Spada on May 26, 2016.

 

On April 30, 2016, Holley Police arrested Floyd Hanes, 40, of Holley, for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Hanes was issued appearance tickets to be arraigned in Town of Murray Court before Judge Theodore Spada on May 5, 2016.

 

On May 9, 2016, Holley Police arrested Vincent F. Vaccarelli, 28, of Brockport, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree; and No License. Vaccarelli was issued appearance tickets to be arraigned in Town of Murray Court before Judge Theodore Spada on June 23, 2016.

 

On May 12, 2016, Holley Police arrested Javon A. Mortensen, 22, of Albion, as a result of an arrest warrant out of Village of Holley Police. Mortenson was stopped by Albion Police and transferred to Holley Police. He was then arraigned before Judge Theodore Spada in Town of Murray Court and remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail.

David P. Perry, age 67, of Kendall, was arrested May 12, 2016 and charged with 15 counts of possession of an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16 years old. Approximately 15,000 images of suspected child pornography were found on Perry’s electronic devices. Many of the images found were children between the ages of 2 and 9 years of age. Perry was arraigned by Town of Murray Justice Ted Spada, who set bail at $250,000 cash/bond. Click here for more.

 

Medina Police Department charged Andruw J. Wigley, 18, of 338 E. Oak Orchard St., Medina, on May 1, 2016, with Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree. Wigley was arraigned and held on $250 bail and was scheduled to return May 5 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Gavin L. Flatt, 18, of 4257 E. Shelby Road, Medina, on May 4, 2016, with Trespass. Flatt was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return July 11 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Nicholas R. Dipadova, 19, of 12525 Smith Road, Medina, on May 4, 2016, with Trespass. Dipadova was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return July 11 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Lorenzo A. Taylor, 37, of 709 Church St., Medina, on May 5, 2016, with Criminal Obstruction of Breath or Blood Circulation and Harassment 2nd Degree. Taylor was arraigned and held on $500 bail and was scheduled to return June 2 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Charles R. Dagostino, 34, of 16269 Roosevelt Highway, Kendall, on May 7, 2016, with Driving While Intoxicated; Driving with .08 of 1% or More Blood Alcohol Content; and Passed Red Signal. Dagostino was released on his own recognizance and was scheduled to return May 26 to Shelby Town Court.

Sara J. Harris, 34, of Hilton, was charged with two counts of second degree assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct, endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration, and two counts of resisting arrest, after an incident in the Town of Murray on May 8, 2016. Harris allegedly “head butted” a deputy in the face, causing a cut and swelling, and bit down on another deputy’s arm, breaking the skin. Harris was arraigned by Town of Murray Justice Gary Passarell. Bail was set at $500, and Harris is scheduled to appear in Murray Town Court on May 11. Click here for more.

New York State Troopers arrested Bradley Hering, 23, for Driving While Intoxicated on May 7, 2016. Hering was located a short time after a call was dispatched reporting his vehicle was off the roadway on Bloomingdale Road in the Town of Alabama. Troopers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from Hering. He was administered the SFST’s, which he subsequently failed. Hering was transported to SP Batavia for processing, which revealed a BAC of .14%. He was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket returnable to the Town of Alabama Court on May 24, 2016.

 

On May 5, 2016, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) arrested Officer Andrea Benke, an officer at Orleans Correctional Facility, for Official Misconduct (a Class A Misdemeanor). The investigation revealed that Benke was purchasing clothing for an inmate. Benke was purchasing prepaid phones to talk to the inmate during business hours. Benke was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Albion Court for May 2016.

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Batavia man on multiple charges related to the sexual abuse and rape of a 5-year-old child.


Nicholas L. McKague, 24, of West Main Street Road in Batavia was charged on April 18 by Investigator K. Strickland with rape in the first degree (victim under 11 years old), sexual abuse in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.


The charges followed a two-month investigation conducted by the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office related to an incident that allegedly occurred in the Town of Clarendon in 2011. McKague was arraigned by Town of Clarendon Justice DiFante. McKague was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Orleans County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. McKague is scheduled to appear in the Town of Clarendon Court on May 9 at 6:30 p.m.


Additional charges are forthcoming as the investigation continues. The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Justice for Children Advocacy Center, Orleans County Child Protective Services and the Batavia Police Department.

Medina Police Department charged Justin Carrier, 21, of 209 Rosalyn St., Buffalo, on April 22, 2016, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Carrier was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 5 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Raymond B. Kimber, 38, of 3274 Fruit Ave., Medina, on April 22, 2016, with Driving While Intoxicated; Driving with .08% or More Blood Alcohol Content; Failure to Keep Right; and Moving From Lane Unsafely. Kimber was released and was scheduled to return May 23 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged a 16-year-old on April 23, 2016, with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The 16-year-old was arraigned and held on $500 bail and was scheduled to return April 25 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Amy L. Dain, 37, of Medina, on April 23, 2016, with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Dain was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 9 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Delano Alverez, 36, of 528 Bates Road, Medina, on April 23, 2016, with Violation of Village Ordinance – Dog at Large. Alverez was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 2 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Nafie A. Baity, 33, of 221 Commercial St., Medina, on April 24, 2016, with Harassment 2nd Degree. Baity was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 2 to Ridgeway Town Court.

On April 8, 2016, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lyndonville man after finding him sleeping in his vehicle while stopped on the highway. At about 4:15 a.m., Deputy K. Colonna located Tylar J. Gardepe, 23, of Alps Road, Lyndonville, N.Y., sleeping behind the wheel of his vehicle while parked in the eastbound driving lane of Alps Road in the Town of Yates. Further investigation revealed that Gardepe had allegedly consumed alcoholic beverages while operating his vehicle. Gardepe failed field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for DWI and transported to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office. Gardepe submitted to Data Master Breath Test which resulted in a Blood Alcohol Content reading of .11%. Gardepe was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets for the Town of Yates Court for Driving While Intoxicated and Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.

On April 7, 2016, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested Frederick K. Bohn, 35, of Kendall Road, Kendall, N.Y., following an incident on Kendall Road. Bohn allegedly pointed a shotgun at two people during a dispute. Bohn was charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and arraigned before Town of Murray Justice Spada. Bohn was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to Town of Kendall court on May 5, 2016. Investigation and arrest by Deputy A. Breuilly, assisted by Deputy T. Marano and Deputy D. Pahuta.

 

On April 7, 2016, a Medina man was arrested by the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office after a traffic stop in the Town of Shelby. Sgt. D. Foeller stopped Cory M. Schunk, 30, of Erin Rd, Medina, N.Y., for allegedly speeding on State Route 63 in the Town of Shelby (73 mph in a 55 mph). A subsequent investigation revealed drug paraphernalia including a hypodermic needle. Schunk was charged with Speeding and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument. Schunk is scheduled to appear in the Town of Shelby Court at a later date. Sgt D. Covis assisted with this arrest.

Medina Police Department charged a 17-year-old on April 15, 2016 with two counts of Petit Larceny. The youth was arraigned and held on $500 bail and was scheduled to return May 5 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Javier C. Cuadrado, 40, of 525 West Ave., Medina, on April 15, 2016, with three counts of Petit Larceny. Cuadrado was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return April 28 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Joseph R. Forder, 21, of 3573 N. Gravel Road, Medina, on April 17, 2016, with Disorderly Conduct. Forder was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return April 28 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Stacy R. Moss Jr., 26, of 1104 West Ave., Medina, on April 17, 2016, with Harassment 2nd Degree. Moss was arraigned and held on $100 bail and was scheduled to return April 28 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Ramon Q. Brege, 33, of 512 Park Ave., Medina, on April 19, 2016, with Violation of Village Ordinance Burning of Combustible Material (Open Burning). Brege was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 2 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Makayla D. Castillo, 18, of 118 South Ave., Medina, on April 20, 2016, with Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Disorderly Conduct; and Harassment 2nd Degree. Castillo was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 5 to Shelby Town Court.

On March 31, 2016, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Albion man on charges related to a theft in the Town of Gaines. Christopher M. Bescherer, 34, of Lattin Road, was observed stealing a quantity of scrap metal from private property located on West Transit Church Road. A description of Bescherer’s pickup truck was provided by a witness. Sgt. D. Covis stopped Bescherer as he was pulling into his residence a few hours later. Deputy D. Pahuta charged Bescherer with Petit Larceny and Trespass. Bescherer was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Gaines Court.

Medina Police Department charged Jacob R. Reamer, 20, of 13885 W. Barre Road, Albion, on April 4, 2016, with Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; Unlicensed Operator; and Driving Left of Pavement Markings. Reamer was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return May 2, 2016 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Robert L. Dix Sr., 55, of 200 S. Main St., Lyndonville, on April 8, 2016, with Driving While Intoxicated; Driving with .08 of 1% or More Blood Alcohol Content; and Drinking Alcohol in Motor Vehicle. Dix was scheduled to return April 25 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Ricky Caraballo, 23, of 421 E. Oak Orchard St., Medina, on April 10, 2016, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument; Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Moved From Lane Unsafely. Caraballo was arraigned and held on $500 bail and was scheduled to return April 11 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Keith M. Levandowski, 25, of Albion, on April 11, 2016, with Burglary 2nd Degree; Criminal Mischief 4th Degree; and three counts Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Lewandowski was arraigned and held on $2,000 bail and was scheduled to return April 14 to Shelby Town Court.

On April 2, 2016, a Hamlin woman was charged with petit larceny by the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly stealing three sets of pots and pans from the Walmart Super Center in Albion. Kaila M. Rivera, 27, was observed leaving the store with a shopping cart filled with boxes without making any attempt to pay for the items. Asset Protection officials from Walmart were able to observe the plate number of Rivera’s vehicle and provide that information to deputies. Deputy R. Flaherty and Inv. C.J. Laubacher were able to determine Rivera’s identity though store video surveillance images along with other means. Further investigation revealed that Rivera had pawned the stolen items, valued at $547, at a pawn shop on Dewey Avenue in Rochester. The items were recovered. Rivera was located and charged with one count of petit larceny. She was arraigned before Town of Albion Justice Moore. Bail was set at $1000. While Rivera was being processed at the Orleans County Jail, Sgt. Michael Christopher located a quantity of Suboxone in her purse. Deputy R. Flaherty charged Rivera with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree in addition to the previous charges. Rivera will appear in the Town of Albion Court.

An Elba man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident on March 25 in the Town of Clarendon. At approximately 4:16 a.m., the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office 911 Center received a report of a vehicle off the road on Holley Byron Road. Sgt. D. Foeller arrived and located Roger W. Little, 49, standing near the wrecked vehicle. Little failed the prescreen and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Little was arrested and transported to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office for a breath test. The breath test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent. Little was charged with moving from lane unsafely, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Little was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets, released, and will appear in the Town of Clarendon court at a later date. Deputy J. Narburgh and Deputy K. Colonna assisted in the arrest.

Medina Police Department charged Charles J. Knapp, 47, of Medina, on March 31, 2016 with Petit Larceny. Knapp was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return April 11 to Ridgeway Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Johnny Sponaugle, 40, of Medina, on April 1, 2016 with Assault Third Degree. Sponaugle was arraigned and held on $500 bail and was scheduled to return April 7 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Ashlee Waters, 26, of Medina, on April 4, 2016 with Owning/Harboring Unlicensed Dog; Appropriate Shelter for Dogs Left Outdoors; and Keeping Unvaccinated Dog. Waters was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return April 28 to Shelby Town Court.

 

Medina Police Department charged Edward C. Simmons, 29, of Medina, on April 7, 2016 with Criminal Impersonation; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Seventh Degree; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle; and Failed to Yield Right-of-Way to an Emergency Vehicle. Simmons was arraigned and held on $1000 bail and was scheduled to return April 7 to Shelby Town Court.

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged a Rochester woman with driving while intoxicated following a vehicle stop on April 2 in the Town of Barre. Deputy J. Narburgh was on patrol at approximately 1:38 a.m. when he stopped a vehicle for speeding on State Route 31A. Kristin N. DePaul, 27, of West Ridge Road in Rochester failed the breath pre-screen test and the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the Sheriff’s Office reported. DePaul was transported to the Sheriff’s Office, where she was given the Data Master breath test, resulting in a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.8 percent. DePaul was charged with DWI, speeding, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and uninspected motor vehicle. She is scheduled to appear in Barre Town Court on April 21 at 6 p.m. Deputy K. Colonna assisted with this arrest.

 

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Brockport man on March 16 following an investigation into alleged sexual contact with two minor victims in the Town of Murray, Undersheriff Chris Bourke said.  Andre D. Vega, 24, of West Avenue, Brockport, was charged by investigator S. Brett with one count of sexual abuse in the third degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. The charges stem from alleged incidents that occurred in early 2016. Vega was arraigned by Murray Town Justice Ted Spada and was released on his own recognizance. A temporary order of protection was issued and Vega is due back in the Town of Murray court on April 20.

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Albion woman for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident on Monday in the Town of Gaines. At approximately 8:34 p.m., Samantha K. Tillman, 22, of Main Street, Albion, was southbound on Oak Orchard Road when her vehicle left the west side of the highway, struck a utility pole, continued through a yard and struck a house at 3242 Oak Orchard Rd. Tillman was not injured. She failed the prescreen and the standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for DWI by Sgt. G.T.Gunkler. Tillman was transported to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office for a Data Master Breath Test which resulted in a BAC of .13%. Tillman was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device. Tillman was issued uniform traffic tickets, released and will appear in the Town of Gaines Court on April 20 at 3 p.m. Deputy T.Marano, Deputy J. Gifaldi and the Albion Police Department assisted with the investigation.

 

On Feb. 27, 2016, Holley Police charged Tianna J. Gaffney, 21, of Spencerport, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Speed in Zone. Gaffney was issued an appearance ticket to be arraigned in Town of Murray Court on March 21, 2016.

 

On March 10, 2016, Holley Police arrested Kayne Winston Probst, 21, of Holley, for Assault in the 3rd Degree - with Intent to Cause Physical Injury. Kayne was arraigned by Judge Spada in Town of Murray Court and was to return to court on March 16, 2016. An Order of Protection was issued to the victim.

 

On March 13, 2016, Holley Police charged Javon A. Mortensen, 22, of Albion, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree. He was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment on April 28, 2016 at Town of Murray Court.

 

On March 17, 2016, at approximately 10 p.m., Holley Police arrested Darrel T. Wilder, 28, of Holley, for Driving While Intoxicated - 1st Offense, Operation of a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% or More Alcohol in Blood - 1st Offense, Failure to Keep Right - 2 Lane Road, Unsafe Movement of a Stopped Motor Vehicle, Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Obstructed Vision, Unsafe Backing of a Vehicle and Unsafe Turn/Failure to Signal. Wilder was given appearance tickets to be arraigned in Town of Murray Court on March 31, 2016 and was released. At 11:22 p.m., Wilder was stopped again in the Village of Holley and showed six clues of intoxication. This time he would not submit to a breath test. Wilder was again charged with Driving While Intoxicated - 1st Offense and Refusal to take Breath Test. He was transported to Town of Murray Court for arraignment and was remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail. He will face all charges on March 31, 2016.

 

On March 18, 2016, Holley Police charged Joseph J. Willis, 25, of Holley, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Unsafe Backing of a Motor Vehicle. He was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment in Town of Murray Court on April 4, 2016.

 

On March 18, 2016, Holley Police charged Thomas W. Andrews, 25, of Ruskin, Fla., with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and No/Inadequate Plate Lamp. Andrews was arraigned in Town of Murray Court on March 18, 2016 and returned to court on March 24, 2016.

 

On March 19, 2016, Holley Police, with assistance from the Orleans County Sheriff's Department, arrested William A. Page, 28, of Albion, for Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief with Intent to Damage Property, Harassment in the 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. He was arraigned in Town of Murray Court and is scheduled to return to court on April 14, 2016.

 

On March 22, 2016, Holley Police arrested Andrew L. Coley, 18, of Holley, for Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree - Disobey Court Mandate. Coley was arraigned in Town of Murray Court and was remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail. He is to return to court on April 13, 2016.

 

On March 25, 2016, Holley Police arrested Daniel G. Roe, 33, of Hamlin, for DWI-Felony: Previous Conviction Within 10 Years, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree, and Failure to Keep Right - 2 Lane Road. Roe was arraigned in Town of Murray Court and was remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail with a return court date of April 13, 2016.

 

On March 27, 2016, Holley Police, with assistance from the Orleans County Sheriff's Department, arrested Dale P. Passarell, 57, of Holley, for Disorderly Conduct with Obscene Language/Gestures and Resisting Arrest. He was arraigned in Town of Murray Court and released on his own recognizance. He has a return court date of April 20, 2016.

 

On March 28, 2016, Holley Police arrested Andy A. Gonzalez, 34, of Rochester, for Acting in a Manner to Injure a Child Less than 17. Gonzales was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment in Town of Murray Court on April 7, 2016.
